2 weeks agoFun! 🤩 It’s small inside but pretty compact with hand on activities. Has an outdoor pay yard with small bikes that stretches from front to the back. Ample free parking. Our favorites activities were the indoor treehouse, the HUGE art class and water station! Very clean facility, lots to do in neighboring location. Everything else was pretty basic and what you get at most children’s museums ( we have visited quite a few from NC to VA)

a week agoWe enjoyed the children’s museum! My 3 yr old loved it - ideal age. My 6 year old had fun but was probably the top age. Indoor exhibits and outdoor playground were fun!

a year agoThis place is amazing! It's huge and is filled with so many things for children of all ages to do. I took my nephew who is nearly 2 here and we spent hours exploring and having fun. I loved how there was not simply one section for him to play in due to how young he is instead he could go everywhere and explore everything! Each area had levels of things to explore based on age so my nephew got to experience the whole building. Another favorite thing about this building is things are local from a local grocery shop and diner inside to the local news station and Amtrak. Not only do they have an amazing interior their outdoor play area is next level as well with jungle gyms and a water play area for warm days. There is an arts and crafts area as well where young minds can create with all kinds of mediums and materials and I love they have bins to use recycled good. There is a carousel inside that is 3 dollars a ride. Lots of open space and the place is kept clean. The bathrooms are spacious and also kept clean. Staff is very friendly, helpful and present you never have to go try to track them down. Admission is 9 dollars which is well worth it. You will not be disappointed with your visit here. I highly recommend it.

2 months agoGreat visit with my 3 and 1 year old! Reasonable prices, free parking, and great exhibits for littles. Super friendly staff. We went on a weekday, and it wasn’t too crowded from 9:30-11, it got busy around 11 when we left for lunch/nap, and then it was quiet when we returned from 3-5pm.
