11 months agoCelebrated my 9 year old daughter birthday with 10 of her girl friends. They had a blast, the 2 workers were engaging and made her birthday awesome with a custom music video the girls helped produce and film. What a great idea and done in 2 hrs. We used there Brooklyn Navy Yard location at 141 Flushing Ave. Thank you CinemaKidz!

5 months agoMy son attended CinemaKids for 6 weeks this summer. Each week he had a new adventure in film making: -Storyboarding & Digital Animation -Video Editing -Computer Animation -Stop Motion Animation -YouTube Production -NYC Movie Adventures He really enjoyed meeting and working with new teams each week to achieve their end goal. He also loved that he got better with animations, learning to edit and ultimately has a great digital portfolio at the end of the summer. He would love to do it again if schedule and money permits. As the ones funding this, it was an expensive endeavor but we as parents were happy to see how excited he was to be able to exercise his creative skills with this media through this program in the end. Thanks for a great experience.

6 months agoOur daughter had an incredible experience at CinemaKids camp, giving it her own rating of "11/10"! The camp was well-organized, with smooth drop-off and pick-up procedures, and the activities were impressively creative. The kids made props for their "movie," went to the park to film it, and, most importantly, learned what goes into making a movie. The camp counselors were fantastic! We’ll definitely be signing her up again next year!

4 months agoOur boys (6 and 8) had a wonderful experience here. Every aspect of this program was run with care and precision and the camp instructors were top notch and clearly cared about the kids. Our boys loved their time here and they were taken care of very well. We can’t say enough good things and feel so grateful and lucky this was an option for us.

5 months agoMy son Christian had such a nice time at cinema kidz at queensboro college this summer! Michael and Kelly were really amazing with all the kids. Christian did video game design the first week, where he designed his own video game with a friend he met at camp. They really enjoyed making it together! And then he did adventures in animation the second week where he learned how to animate his drawings. I really enjoyed coming at the end of each week to see what the kids created! They did a whole ceremony on a big screen so us parents could see what they created, and each child got a different award for one of their strengths! My son’s animation and video game were so awesome! All the kids did a great job! I was extremely impressed at his creativity and how much he was able to learn and put together in one week! And to see my sons confidence in his work, and how proud he was of his animation and game really moved me and made me feel like I made the right decision for this summers activities! I can’t wait to see what they do next summer! Thank you guys for a great experience! We will definitely be coming back next summer! I would recommend cinemakidz to all the parents out there who want to try a different summer program, full of creativity and skill learning! This was definitely worth the money!!!
