Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre

My 3.5-year-old attended a friend’s birthday party here and we saw “Bessie’s Big Shot” — and I was blown away (no pun intended!) The puppets, puppeteers, sets, lighting, and everything were incredible. Marionettes are such an amazing and beautiful art form that I am glad to have experienced even as an adult. And the show held the attention of my very busy toddler. We’ll definitely be back for the next show!

Wow, the marionette show was amazing! Great for all ages. Very entertaining and very professionally done

The play was beautiful. The puppets were so cute. The seating was organized where you can see the play from any angle. Young children will totally enjoy it along with the adults.

This place is a great pitstop 🚏 when visiting Central Park! 🏞️ The Swedish Cottage Marionette Theater 🎭 is a cool wooden cottage in the middle of the park. 🏠 This is a great place to relax and unwind. If you're lucky, try coming in for a marionette show. I wish more people knew about this place!
