Things to Consider

- ⚠Figurine selection tends to be the same year-to-year, with limited rotation of items.
- ⚠Reservation mix-ups can occur, though staff are accommodating in resolving them.
- ⚠No sample display for how dark colors will appear after varying numbers of coats (e.g., 1, 2, 3, 4 coats).
- ⚠Paints may require 3-4 coats for desired color darkness, more than some other types of paint.
- ⚠Specific item availability concerns, e.g., 'too many tall mug choices and not enough dishes, like spoon rests.'

4 months agoNote: It is Xmas season, however, the selection was rather picked over if looking to do a plate, or mug. Lots of cute small figurines, some good deals on 3 flat Xmas ornaments. They have a few fun paint options, about 10 colors that fire with speckles in them. They also have stencils, stickers, and a fabric cutout technique that are fun to try, but as a newb I wasn't thrilled on results but had fun making. They have a type of thin line paint that comes out of a tiny bottle in about 20 colors for lettering and outlines. They also have sponges, toothbrushes for splatter, and many diverse brush types. There is a studio fee and price per peice fee, outside prices are not allowed. If you ask, they will provide a scapel knife for removing oops paint. The studio fee covers time no matter how long you are there. The staff are very pleasant and skilled at advice when asked. I wish they kept their stock up better, and rotated a bit more items as year to year I've gone I see the same figurines available to paint. Firing happened in a week for me, and I got a text message when my work was ready to be picked up.

10 months agoWe planned our office retreat at this center this year. Very glad that we made reservation earlier as it got crowded pretty quickly. The regular studio fee is $10/person, but we got 50% off as it was on Tuesday. They have so many different varieties of pieces to pick from, we tried to stay between $12 to $45 items. The atmosphere at the store was nice. And the staff were really helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this place!

3 months agoThey had a little mix-up with our reservation one night, so we had to schedule for another night. Laura was incredibly accommodating when we came back and did an excellent job taking care of us. We had a great time. The painting was fun and we're excited for our pieces.

4 months agoAwesome experience! You pay per piece and can choose as many colors as you like. I wish they had a sample of how dark colors will get after 1, 2, 3, and 4 coats. Other paints only need 2-3 coats but these need 3-4. There were too many tall mug choices and not enough dishes, like spoon rests.
