6 months agoCrescent Park in New Orleans is a hidden gem offering a peaceful escape from the bustling city while still showcasing the beauty of the Mississippi River and the city’s skyline. The park is perfect for a leisurely stroll, jog, or bike ride, with its well-maintained paths and serene atmosphere. The park’s design cleverly incorporates both modern elements and natural landscapes, with lush green spaces, wildflower meadows, and native plants. There are plenty of spots to sit and relax, including benches and shaded areas, making it ideal for picnics or just unwinding. However, it’s important to note that Crescent Park can get quite hot during the summer months, as there’s limited shade in certain areas. Bringing water and wearing sunscreen is a good idea for daytime visits. Overall, Crescent Park is a wonderful destination for both locals and tourists looking for a scenic, quiet spot to enjoy nature, exercise, or simply take in the views of New Orleans.

2 months agoToo bad but this could such a great area. Walked into the Warf which I thought Would be a cool area to watch the boats but multiple homeless people shooting up and smoking meth. Zero police around so I would not say it is safe.

a year agoVery close to the river, and adjacent to the city. It kind of curves a bit so it would be better if they could have straightened it out but oh well I guess that's part of being here. There's a dog run, but it's fairly small. When I was there the place was lousy with clowns but they were kind of hot so, when they chased me on their roller skates it was oddly traumatic yet stimulating. I guess the best way to describe this would be that when I recall this memory "I will find it difficult but not impossible...". There's a very small chance that if you me running to clowns here so if you don't like clowns or don't want to be put in a situation that would cause you to not like clowns in the future, perhaps you should steer clear. Other than that..it's a nice park.
