a week agoLots to do at this zoo! There are plenty of animal exhibits, learning opportunities and food vendors throughout this zoo. Bathrooms are easily accessible with several located throughout the zoo. They have their own animal hospital on site. You can purchase tickets online ahead of time or visit one of the three electronic kiosks near the entrance. The staff were very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. They were willing to sit with families and talk about the animals, great learning opportunity for young children. There's a carousel and a train for kids to ride on. The food stands are decently priced, I opted for a pretzel with cheese, very filling. My group spent around 4 hours walking the entire zoo. It was slightly crowded as there seemed to be field trips occuring. However it was a beautiful day out for enjoying the zoo. Even the animals seemed to be more lively in this beautiful weather.

2 weeks agoReview of Denver Zoo I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Denver Zoo for their commitment to inclusivity and accessibility for all families, regardless of their financial situation. After having a disappointing experience at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo with the manager destiny, where I witnessed discriminatory practices, visiting the Denver Zoo felt like a breath of fresh air. The special discount for low-income families was not only generous but also incredibly appreciated. It allowed us to enjoy an enriching day at the zoo without worrying about the financial burden. Knowing that we were welcomed and valued as guests made our visit all the more special. The staff at the Denver Zoo were amazing! From the entrance to the various exhibits, every team member we encountered was friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to assist. Their positive attitude made our experience even more enjoyable. The zoo itself was well maintained, with clean facilities and well-kept animal habitats. It was evident that a lot of care and effort goes into creating a comfortable environment for both the animals and the visitors. The variety of exhibits was impressive, offering both educational and entertaining experiences for guests of all ages. Overall, I cannot thank the Denver Zoo enough for making us feel welcome and providing an affordable family outing. Your dedication to inclusivity is commendable, and it's clear that you are committed to creating a positive experience for all visitors. We will definitely be back to enjoy more amazing days at your wonderful zoo!

a week agoBeautifully designed and decorated, flora and fauna are well cared. You will enjoy a nice family experience. Plan expending at least 3-4 hours as is a huge place. Get sun protection and hats.Tickets can be purchased using an automated machine or with a cashier, line for first option goes quicker. African exhibitions are great, lions look majestic. On Sundays it’s really crowded

a month agoI recently visited the Denver Zoo, and it was an amazing experience! The variety of animals is impressive, from majestic lions to playful penguins. The exhibits are well-designed, allowing you to see the animals up close while providing them with a comfortable environment. One of the highlights for me was the giraffe exhibit. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, sharing interesting facts about the animals. The zoo also has beautiful gardens and walking paths, making it a lovely place to spend the day. Overall, the Denver Zoo is a fantastic destination for families and animal lovers alike. With its engaging exhibits and commitment to conservation, it's a place you won't want to miss when you're in the area!

3 weeks agoWe visited the zoo on a chilly but beautiful sunny day! The animals were out and active. We learned a lot, saw some new animals we hadn’t seen before, and got some good steps in. The highlight for me was feeding the birds nectar! It made me so happy! I also loved the reptile and amphibian exhibit. There are a lot of cool fish and frogs to see! We used our City Pass to save on the ticket price. I would definitely go again!
