5 months agoWe had a wonderful time. Everyone involved in traffic control and check-in went above and beyond to make everything fun and easy. I love the happy, friendly atmosphere of the booths. There were also so many gift options available and a lot of great food choices.

a month agoLoved it!!! It was my son's 13th birthday and we had a blast!! It was easy to find and very well keep. The horses were friendly and well-fed. I worried the horses would be overworked, but you could tell they not!! Our guide was very nice and knowledgeable. It was so much fun to see all the different types of animals. The calves are beyond cute!! I was on Vegas, which is a white and silver Mustang. He is the only one on the farm. My son was riding Oscar, which was a barrel horse. Our guide was on Fancy, which she definitely was!! We had such a good time.We can't wait to do it again!!

5 months agoMy family has been going to Diamond D Ranch for several years now. We started a family tradition of going horseback riding over the Thanksgiving holiday several years ago. I actually rode for the very first time at Diamond D in my 50's. (I cannot remember exactly the year!) My husband's entire family - including my own children - are horse people. My husband has stacks of ribbons from riding English as a young boy, while my children grew up riding Western at their grandparents' farm. I grew up riding neither. I was clear that I needed a VERY gentle horse. (I have osteoporosis from a cancer med and was concerned about falling or being thrown.) This has become such a sweet and fun family tradition - even for me! I have taken my granddaughter to ride at Diamond D at other times besides Thanksgiving, and she even attended one of their summer day camps a couple of years ago. ALL of the horse are gentle and well-behaved, and I needn't have feared falling or being thrown. The property is beautiful, and the one hour ride is just the right length for a fun ride but not too taxing, especially for beginners. Yesterday we had our annual family ride and my son-in-law (who also did not grow up around horses) had his first solo horseback ride. The guides are always so nice, personable, and knowledgeable. The ranch also has many other fun events including their Diamonds in the Rust market in the spring and fall. You won't regret booking a ride at Diamond D!

4 weeks agoWhat an incredible adventure at Diamond D Ranch! I went with a group of girlfriends, and we had the best time. The staff was amazing—so friendly, informative, and clearly passionate about the ranch and its animals. The property itself is absolutely stunning, with postcard-worthy views at every turn. We saw deer, wild turkeys, goats, cows, bison, and horses roaming the pastures—it felt like stepping into a peaceful, picturesque world. After our ride, we enjoyed a picnic lunch at their tables, which was the perfect way to wrap up the day. Everything about the experience was fun, educational, and beautifully done. Highly recommend for anyone looking to connect with nature, animals, and good company!
