went in to purchase a pair of wrestling shoes for my daughter, and one of their footwear employees, Micah, spent all of his time patiently explaining every detail and what kind of shoe my daughter would need to fit her play-style. Very friendly, and extremely outgoing. He looked very stressed as well as it was very busy going back and forth, but his customer service was superb. also might note I went to this same store last year and the experience was absolutely atrocious. But thankfully it seems like they have better employees as of late.

The clerk at checkout was rude when asked where a certain shirt might be. Said over there by mannequins. Over there! I couldn't find the shirts so went back to her to ask if a salesperson could help me. She called for someone else who was just as put out about helping. I will never come back in Dicks again.

Customer service is sub par. Got there at opening 9am didn’t know that they had not opened the doors yet. Assumed that the first door sensor wasn’t working got to the second door to realize that they hadn’t open their doors yet. Waited for team member open the door. Wanted to pick up some golf balls and a couple other things before my round. Then was spoken to in a very rude tone and told to not touch the doors. I was told they’re not ready by who I’m assuming was the manager there. I asked him if they opened at 9am to which he replied yes but he’s not ready?!? Well my bad sir maybe get your ducks in a row before opening and you won’t lose out on business.

I went into the store purchased a fanny pack. I went back in later that evening because I got it for my daughter and she originally wanted a different color. We exchanged it with the lead of the front staff Angela. The lead exchanged the purchase onto a score card (in store credit instead of my debit card) I didn’t know until the following day when I noticed damage to the fanny pack and went with the receipt to go get a refund. They refused to refund stating that because it was purchased with a “pre paid visa” they could not do anything but give me store credit. I asked to speak to the manager they gave me customer services number and told me that they can’t do anything for me to call them. I called customer service spoke to Derik and he stated since I didn’t purchase “on-line”that he couldn’t do anything for me I needed to talk to management in store. I went back in and spoke to the manger Jill, Jill stated she could only give me back store credit because I used my pre-paid Visa. I use this card for everything my paychecks are deposited onto this card. I have never had a problem using my card anywhere EVER. I had my receipt. I don’t understand why they couldn’t give me my money back. I did end up just getting store credit which, I will probably give it away. I will never shop there again and will be spreading the word about this. Very disappointing
