a year agoIt was OK. Parking was a joke, seriously. Went "good friday" Parking lot attendant had a full parking garage yet still had people pulling in to drive around aimlessly looking for a place to park. $20 to park in garage. Otherwise the business next door will also charge $20 to park in their lot. And the whole street around the area has "no parking" signs everywhere and the ticket for parking there is $35 (ask me how I know) but literally it was the ONLY place to park within a half mile of the place. No real reason for the "no parking" on the street other then to make milwaukee money with tickets, being the predators police are they love that revenue for b.s. laws that are in place for no other reason then to generate revenue for the state. Got inside and it's $25 per person or $20 for a kid. Cool place with neat things to see and learn about. Half the buttons your supposed to press to see what happens DO NOT WORK, or work very poorly. Example: press a button to show how water is shed off the land during a rain event, the button turns on the water but the water barely trickles out and does not go down the slope like it should making their display 100% useless because its not flowing water like it should to create the effect.... The ship hanging from the ceiling was cool but cramped inside, kid loved it though. Fish pet area the water was deep so smaller kids 5yo or younger have zero chance of touching a stingray or sturgeon, yet it's "for kids" gift shop was overpriced like they usually are and my kid got a $25 stuffed animal. 2adults +1 child= $70 parking/parking ticket $35, stuffed animal $25. Spent $130 to go for a family of 3. It was OK but VERY busy. Most irritating part was the lack of parking and driving around for a half hour looking for a spot that was open, even though it was in a no parking spot it was the only option. I would recommend going early or on a less busy day. We went at 2pm on a holiday "good friday".

3 years agoTruman Aquarium is a great spot to take the family and is connected to Discovery World. It’s a smaller aquarium than those in larger cities and it’s still a fun place for the kids to explore and learn about the freshwater eco system. The life size ship is also a really great piece for everyone to explore and enjoy. Check it out!

a month agoNice place, not like many other aquariums I have been to. They don't have sharks or many ocean fish but it's still a nice place to visit with the littles.

6 years agoVery cool aquarium since it has a tunnel that has the overhead tank but it is a very small aquarium. On a crowded day it leaves very little space to move around. Exhibit halls are narrow which can be hard of your in a wheelchair or using a child carriage. The touch tank was cool. Kids really enjoyed that. My main complaint is the café and paid parking, is too small for the amount of people that visit. The café is not equipped to handle the amount of visitors. No food was ready. Lines were ridiculous. Waiting times for food was worse. Barely no seating. Who designed that?
