Evangeline's Costume Mansion

As a cosplayer and someone really into alternative fashion, this place is a DREAM. The majority of the costume pieces are very good quality and it's so nice to be able to fully check out and try on pieces that I'd usually just have to order online and hope it's good quality and fits right. The only problem I have is that I don't have enough money to buy everything in there lmao

This place is just amazing. I came two years ago and haven't stopped thinking about it since. I dragged my sister and best friend with me, and well all got something unique and amazing. I ended up having to exchange something I bought, and it was a very easy process. It's a cosplays paradise. Three stories of amazing costumes and designs.

Been shopping here for over 20 years. Must go for anyone visiting the area. My most recent visit, there was some art on display that was out of stock on the shelf. An associate went in the back and found one for me! I've always loved shopping here for gifts and little trinkets. Fan fave for life!!

Walked into here by chance while visiting Old Sacramento. I would have never thought I’d see such a fascinating and extensive costume shop. The shop is three floors with a gift shop on the first, the second floor being based on renaissance, lab-based, gothic, jail, and jungle costumes, and the third floor including disco, storybook, circus costumes, wigs, and makeup. There are cashiers on each floor and children’s costumes in storage - you just need to ask for assistance. Given how expansive it is, the costume shop also has a scavenger hunt and cute novelty props set around the store.
