Far East Community Center

I love this recreation center. It's where I played as a child, and now I take my kids there to play. You can exercise and walk while the kids play since the walking path circles the playground. Plenty of field around for all sports. Inside the center is clean, and they have a really nice small weight room for personal advancement. Far east has been upgrading their entire experience. In the past 5 years they have built a new gym and recently took the old playground down to resurface it and make it better for the kids.

Just joined a month ago , and all I can say is what a wonderful facility. ! ... great gym , very nice staff , alot of activities mostly for kids , some for adults . Treated very nice by everybody ...surrounding park is really nice too, like the outdoor basketball court . Took me over 50 years to join , but I will be a life long member for now on .. .

Great programming for both kids and adults. Knowledgeable, friendly, and patient staff. Lots of experience at this recreation center. Recently upgraded weight room with new equipment and big screen flatscreen TV. There are dance programs for kids and adults. Soccer, baseball, and tee ball leagues are in full swing for the youth and there are open gyms for adults on Fridays at noon. Very pleased with my Far East recreation experience. I will definitely be back and I've told both my family and friends so they've attended many events here as well.

Children have enjoyed multiple activities at this rec center. They have a good staff. We mostly attend for dance with Miss Nicole. If you have a daughter who loves to dance Miss Nicole and her "Dreaming of Broadway" dance is the way to go! Can't say how blessed we've been to have her teaching our Grands to dance. ballet, jazz, tap, etc.

Nice staff! We want for gymnastics it was in a small room lighting wasn't too good and they don't have any equipment just floor mats. The building is outdated. But overall it was decent
