Ft. Worth Zoo is one the best zoos in the US. We had a great day. It's a huge, well maintained zoo with 7000 different types of animals. There are plenty of restaurants, restrooms, and shaded areas to relax and take your time exploring the park.

Loved this zoo so much. Kids had a great time. Everything is spacious, lots of room for viewing all the animals. Did not have to wait long for carousel nor train. The only negative is how far we were forced to park. Walking throughout the zoo took about 4 hours. Then walking back to our vehicle took maybe 15 or longer. Which really sucked for my 70year old father and my toddler. Whom both were pretty tired as it was. They do not offer shuttle service to and from.

Back again! This is our second trip this time with our newest addition, and once again it was a hit!! The zoo is absolutely massive, so bring your strollers/wagons, and your best walking shoes! The price isn’t too crazy, we came at opening and was totally rushing through the last part of the park before closing, so I think price wise it’s definitely worth it! I would recommend buying tickets online & check out the dates first, some days are cheaper than others! The park is fully accessible, ramps everywhere for those in need of them! There are restrooms all around, and cafe & food stands throughout the park! And our personal favorite, the Kona ice stands! I know when we went, there was one right at the entrance, and one over by the macaws! (If you take a left once you’re in the park and just continue past the reptile exhibit!) We paid for regular admission, snowcones, and the giraffes feeding. (If you buy drinks at the stands, unless you are buying the collectible cups, the drinks do not come with straws or lids for the animals safety.) Giraffe feeding was $6 (comes with three leaves of lettuce) and was such a cool experience, they do ask that you do not touch them! Overall there’s more than enough to check out here, everytime is a new experience, and it’s always a hit with the kids! 10/10 will always come back!

When I visited the Fort Worth Zoo, I expected just another typical zoo, but I was completely blown away by how wrong I was. The staff is exceptional—passionate about feeding the animals and sharing their knowledge with visitors. I was also surprised by how close you can get to the animals, creating a truly immersive experience. Whether you're a family looking for a fun day out or a photography enthusiast eager to capture stunning wildlife shots, there's something for everyone. I originally thought I'd spend only 1-2 hours there, but I ended up staying for half the day and still didn’t want to leave! If you're ever in the Lone Star State, the Fort Worth Zoo is definitely worth the visit, and it’s Mr. S Travel Quest approved!

We were inside the zoo, after purchasing our tickets, for about 4 hours. My family and I had so much fun! Great for all the family. Even the walk to the entrance and getting to our vehicle was pleasant.
