💡Pro Tips from Reviews
- →Be prepared for higher prices per play for claw machines, especially if you're accustomed to international arcade pricing.
- →Budget accordingly for gameplay, as a few tries can quickly add up to significant costs ($5.80+ per try on larger machines).
- →Don't hesitate to ask staff for tips on how to improve your chances of winning prizes.
- →Expect the venue to be popular with 'many people', especially if visiting in NYC.
Things to Consider
- ⚠Significantly high cost per play for claw machines compared to arcades in Asia (e.g., $5.80 USD per try for bigger machines, ~$2.32 for smaller ones, versus sub-$1 in Asia).
- ⚠Perceived low catch rates, which exacerbates the feeling of poor value given the high price per play.
Price & Value
The pricing is a significant concern for some customers. It costs $11 for 28 credits ($13 after tax). Bigger claw machines cost 15 or more credits per try, translating to approximately $5.80 USD for one single try. Smaller machines are 5 credits per try, which is approximately $2.32 USD per try (based on $13 for 28 credits). A VIP club offers slightly lower prices but is still noted as being over $5 USD per try for larger machines. This is considered 'terrible value' by some, especially when compared to Japanese (7-77 cents/try) and Taiwanese (31 cents/try) arcades, given the perceived low catch rates.

- •No specific parking information available, though one review mentions a 'trip to NYC' which implies an urban setting where parking might be limited or paid.
👥Crowd Levels
- •Frequently described as having 'many people' and a 'fun environment with many people', indicating it's a popular and potentially busy venue.
🛡️Safety Features
- •No specific safety features mentioned in the reviews.
⏰When to Avoid
- • If you are on a strict budget for arcade gaming due to the high cost per play.
- • If you expect similar value or pricing to arcades found in Japan or Taiwan.
- • If low win rates for expensive plays are likely to cause frustration.
- • If you prefer less crowded environments, as it's described as having 'many people'.

a month agoLiterally reviewing the terrible *value* compared to Japan and Taiwan where this business type came from, not the staff or aesthetics. We just moved back to the US from Japan and are totally taken aback by the prices here for claws. In Japan it's 100yen/77 usd CENTS per try (some are literally 10 yen aka 7 cents, and very very few are even 200 yen) and in Taiwan it's NTD 10/usd 31 CENTS per try. Here? At $11 for 28 credits ($13 after tax) the bigger machines cost 15 or more credits to play which translates to about USD 5.80 for ONE single try which seems excessive given the low catch rates. Slightly lower for the vip club but still over 5 dollars usd. The smaller machines are still 5 credits at least. The place is clean and bright and looks lovely, but it is a terrible value. I'm not sure if this is the norm in the US or what but this is definitely not a good value for anyone who has experienced real arcades in Asia.
