- Do not count on purchasing drinks; the drink machine is frequently broken.
- Be prepared for potentially burnt popcorn.

- If you expect pristine sound or picture quality, as both can be inconsistent.
- If you are relying on purchasing soft drinks from the concession stand (machine is 'ALWAYS broken').
- If you prefer perfectly made popcorn (it's 'usually burnt').
- If you only have cash, as it is a cashless theater.

- With only two employees usually working and handling all sales at the concession stand, potential wait times for tickets and food could occur, especially during busy periods. Free prescreenings on Saturday afternoons may attract larger crowds.
- Value
- $5 movies offer exceptional value, especially combined with reasonably priced snacks. Free prescreenings also provide excellent value. However, prices for non-$5 showings have increased and are now considered 'almost as expensive as regular theaters'. Be aware of potential 'hidden costs' in terms of unavailable drinks or burnt popcorn. It is a cashless theater.
- Food
- Concession stand offers 'reasonably priced snacks'.
- Accessibility
- Staff use latex gloves at the concession stand, which is a significant concern for individuals with latex allergies. No other specific accessibility accommodations are mentioned.
- Safety
- The theater is consistently reported as 'clean', which contributes to a general sense of safety and hygiene. No other specific safety or security features (e.g., staff supervision, first aid) are mentioned.
What parents say
"$5 Movies! Snacks are reasonably priced and the MWR staff keep the theatre clean. The sound is sometimes a little off and the picture is too, but usually it's a great show at a great price."

"It is really annoying that the theater keeps using latex gloves. Which means I can’t buy anything here. Granted the drink machine is ALWAYS broken and the popcorn is usually burnt. Which makes for a bad combo when you don’t have drinks available. But for a $5 movie it isn’t too bad. Just need to sit as close the screen as you can as the volume is going out and isn’t loud at all. The screen is also really small so sitting closer adds to the viewing experience. The theater is kept nice and clean. Just remember it is a cashless theater so don’t accident bring cash. They cut payroll so usually hav"
