4 months agoMy husband and I were visiting down in Phoenix from Prescott and thought we would check out this gym. We really had a great time! Took the lead test and climbed some really fun well set up routes. Owner Chris was so nice as well as the staff. I bought a few really cute T-shirts. This climbing gym also has a full workout gym upstairs, offers ariel yoga and more. Also has a crack climbing wall! We really enjoyed our day at Gecko Climbing gym and will definitely be going back the next time we are down in the Phoenix area.

11 months agoI stopped in here because I was on a business trip and needed somewhere to climb. This is one of the smallest climbing gyms I have seen, but it is great for its size. About half the gym is bouldering and the other half is climbing. It was a great place to do a solo session because they have quite a few auto belays in addition to the bouldering walls. The place is clean and the staff were helpful and friendly.

4 months agoSuch a great gym! You can tell they put a lot into this gym and take pride in offering a great experience for climbers. The holds feel new, the gym is always clean, routes are set on a consistent basis and it’s always a comfortable temperature. The workers have been extremely helpful and friendly, even offering advice for where to climb outside. The new addition of the upstairs area looks fantastic. It does tend to get very busy sometimes but it’s to be expected when the experience is this good. You can avoid the longer lines for auto belays though by doing top rope, lead climbing or bouldering which usually aren’t as busy.

7 months agoA great kid-friendly rock climbing gym. My 6yo and 8yo boys love it! I love the auto-belay options and the kid climbing and slide area, that allow me to sit back a bit more when I need to get their energy out but mine is already spent.

a month agoIt is crazy how fast you can get more fit here. I got a membership two weeks ago, and when I started I could barely climb up one route without being completely exhausted. I would go home nauseous and sore for days after. Just two weeks time and the difference is honestly night and day. I still have a lot of work, but my soreness now only lasts for a few hours, and I'm not going home completely exhausted anymore. Great way to get into shape, and it's fun which is the important part in my opinion! Also the yoga is great, me and my wife have been doing their yoga classes, it's harder then it looks! Their yoga room is really cool!
