Golden Gate Canyon State Park

"Awesome little day trip to Golden Gate Canyon State Park! Checked out the ranch ponds and then turned around and headed up to Panorama Point which was absolutely stunning. Grabbed lunch in Blackhawk on the way back to Denver."

"We stopped at the vistor's center. The staff was very friendly and helpful. He steered us to Panorama Point. It was very pretty! We started the hike, but it was very icy, so we did not make it far on the hike. The views are so worth the drive around the park even if you are not able to hike it."

"Such a fun area even when trenched in mounds of snow. I came in with no expectations and this left me breathless. The continental divide isn't a real divide per se, but the path inwards is quite secluded even though it's really close to the city. Amazing vibe and a great place to experience the rockies."
