💡Pro Tips from Reviews

We had an amazing time at Great Wolf Lodge Water Park in Williamsburg! Our kids were absolutely thrilled with the rides and couldn’t stop talking about their favorites—the excitement was contagious! While the water park is smaller compared to the Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos, it was the perfect size for a fun-filled 4-5 hour adventure, making it easy to enjoy everything without feeling overwhelmed. We stayed in a standard room with the Wolf Den, which was clean, cozy, and absolutely perfect for the kids—they loved the themed bunk beds! The staff was friendly, and the entire experience felt tailored to family fun. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! Highly recommend for a memorable family getaway.

We had a great trip, again, at the Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg, VA. We make this trip every spring with our 7 kids. This year we had 3 of their friends join us. We rented the largest suite and maxed it out at 12 people. It was “cozy” but everyone slept comfortably and we had a great time. We also rented two cabanas side-by-side everyday we were at the pool. That is one of the best purchases we make when they get it right. We like to request the two cabanas located beside the wave pool so that we can easily keep up with the kids. The staff members always tell us that is the plan which is great but, unfortunately, every single year we have an issue with them either being separated or in the wrong location …. Even after we’re told we’re all set and good to go. That’s super frustrating considering the cabanas aren’t cheap and we purchase two at a time per day. Anyway, just make sure you stay on top of it if it matters to your family. Other than that, the customer service overall at this Great Wolf Lodge has improved immensely over the last few years, it’s located 10 mins from Busch Gardens and we enjoy our trip enough to keep coming back every year! Thanks!

Was my first trip here in April 2025 and I was impressed. Yes it’s a bit pricey for a night but need to look for their deals. I thought their food prices are quite reasonable given it was an attraction/theme park. The customer service was out of this world. My child had an absolute blast in the waterpark, and all the activities around the resort. The customer service was very very good, I cannot say enough positive things about the folks at the front desk. They have a lot of free activities throughout the day for those who need a break from the water park, as well as plenty of paid activities to keep you busy. Additionally there are plenty of restaurants nearby if you want to step out and grab something a little bit different. We will definitely be back!

I work at the Maryland GWL and it’s not nearly as nice as this one. Me and my family came here back in 2024 December and had a blast. The waterpark is definitely smaller, but it’s a lot nicer than Perryville. They have a lot less slides, but they still have a good variety. They have way more attractions than Perryville ever can dream of for kids to do. The magic quest is actually a hell of a lot bigger than Perryville. This building is about 19 years old they said, and it is kept up maintenance wise and a lot cleaner than Perryville. This lodge will eat the Perryville lodges lunch any day of the year. It is so well kept and maintained I would come here for a few weeks at a time if I could. Now the maintenance team is amazing as well they took me down and showed me the laundry room which was really cool. Their laundry is set up a lot better than the one at Perryville is. This building for how old it is surprises me how well it is maintained considering the one in Maryland is only two years old and it’s already falling in shambles. I would highly recommend staying here and avoiding the Maryland lodge at all costs. Please take the time to visit here u won’t be disappointed

Does our family love Great Wolf Lodge or what? We visit at least twice a year. It truly is a great time with family. Growing up, I remember doing trips and family vacations and some of my favorite memories was my dad waking me up and walking to the hotel breakfast in my pajamas and waiting in line to pour my waffle mix. Great Wolf lodge has a buffet style eating area with plenty of seating and great food selections. I know they are a pool and I'll get to that, but the dining and eating with family is a huge part of every family trip or vacation and Great Wolf Lodge has that all figured out. The lodge really is a place for kids. Kids are loud and lots of space for them to move and run around even in the lobby. Remember being told as a kid to not be so loud when your parents were checking in a nice hotel? That's nonsense here. The pool is also a good time. They have pools specifically for toddlers and our 2 year old had fun going down the age appropriate slides. The pool also has a wave pool and huge slides that made the trip fun for older cousins and young adults. Plus, the lifeguard team is on point and one of the best in the business.
