a month agoHoliday train ride at Griffith Park is a fun family event. There's plenty of free parking available. Put the kids are economically priced. How about the express passes get sold out very quickly. The train ride is approximately 10 minutes. Depending on the time you arrive the weight could be anything up to 90 minutes. The train sets 60 people at a time. It's open air so that's a little nippy in the cold weather.

a week agoThis is the second year my son and I has been to the Train and Lights event and it has been a success each time. We love it there. They do such a good job of setting it up. However, I do recommend getting priority tickets

2 months agoTickets were sold out but still okay to walk around. The line looks about 2+ hours in the cold anyways unless you have priority tickets. Nice lights though. Some parking but could be a little tricky. Food available for purchase and restrooms available, just not much toilet paper. They were trying to sell a single microwavable ramen cup for $6. Cotton candy $7. Churros $3.50.

2 months agoMy family was visiting LA and did this train the first time. Never have I ever had to wait for 2.5 hours for an event that we purchased a ticket for, especially this is a family event that has a lot of small kids. All the popular events usually have time slot for people to come at different time, and a limit of tickets to be sold. They should also have staff or signs along the line to let people know how long the wait is expected to be at specific points. Can’t believe they haven’t figured out a better system after many years of operation. The ride is cute and kids have fun, but about 30% of the ride is dark without light and decorations.

a month agoGreat for the kiddos ! Love making memories here. Only thing I wish they would do is have Christmas music playing the whole train ride. This would definitely be a 5 out of 5 stars if they had music playing. But other than that it was great ! Love the photo ops they had.
