3 years agoI like how busy this park is always. Nice to see it being busy again. Fun Fact: Albert Hahne, a brick maker, turned alderman who, in 1911 got the city to convert the one-time quarry at Wellington and Damen into one of the North Side's first public parks.

5 years agoHamlin is a great park for all ages. It's one of the few parks that have shade from trees. I love that it has an outdoor pool. The programs here are very inexpensive but great quality. Perfect neighborhood spot.
