2 years agoI really like this park I can not exactly say why... I suppose it is a very relaxing quiet park. There is never been a lot of people in this park when I have gone. Don't misunderstand, it is definitely not deserted. There is always one or two people at least. Generally locals from the neighborhood I assume. There are a few picnic tables, a community garden and a decent jogging path encircling the park. I believe this park would probably be far more suited for adults relaxing rather than children. I don't believe the kiddos would enjoy this park as much as adults. Although there is a nice big open grass area to run around in. It sits right next to thr very tall Hazelwood water tower, below the tower is a water station and offices but outside is some water fountains, bike racks and some very nice landscaping. (Why should public works grounds be ugly?!) It is tucked into a quiet little neighborhood South of Halsey and North of Glissan. Check it out sometime.

10 months agoIt's just a walking path around a big yard basically. Community garden which is cool but the community members not so much.
