9 months agoHiking Hound Adventures are the perfect crew for an amazing outdoor experience. Family run, Megan and Andy are welcoming, knowledgeable, and really commit to making an outdoor adventure a memorable time. Myself and my 3 year old daughter returned from one their kid friendly “Treasure Hunts”. Megan and Andy and their kids Adelaide and Aldo, geared a 45 minute hike into an exciting and educational adventure that my daughter can’t stop talking about. Highly recommended, will return, and bring along friends and their children to future events. Thanks again Hiking Hound!

2 months agoI took the Level 1 Leave No Trace online course from Andy and had a great experience. It was a easy to navigate, very informative, and it helped me develop my skillset as an instructor!

8 months agoInteractive & built in a story along the hikes. Got the kids away from the tech & was a fun adventure for the family. Highly recommended & the kids enjoyed the treasure prize at the end.

6 months agoTheir children’s hikes are fantastic! Each one has a different theme with continual stops/activities throughout. All the kids (variety of ages) seem to remain engaged which can be super tough with younger kids with short attention spans. My 4-year old has been able to stay fully interested for the entirety of all the hikes she’s been on. The instructors do a good job of accommodating everyone’s different personalities and comfort levels. My daughter is quieter and more shy so she’d never assert herself to take the lead or volunteer to be the one to open a treasure etc at a stop, but the instructors rotate who gets to take the lead at each stop so all the kids get a chance. It’s been great to see my daughter build her confidence with hiking. She really looks up to one of the instructors’ daughter and always wants to walk with her which is a big win since she’s usually very shy around non-family! The hikes also do a good job of incorporating quick hiking and nature lessons along the way that really stick with my daughter and that she’s able to repeat when she gets home.

9 months agoHad an awesome day paddleboarding with Hiking Hound! First time for my family and I, and Megan and Andy did a fantastic job teaching the kids and us adults. The whole trip was organized, made to feel safe, and most of all an absolute ton of fun!! We WILL be using them again!
