a year agoDrove 5hrs to watch the 70mm editions of tenet & DUNE 2- I appreciate that parking is complimentary with tix purchase. The concessions and service were excellent. Same crew helped me both days and were excellent. The audio! And theater didn't disappoint. All the extra $ I spent to make it here was worth it. I did not tour any other exhibit or feature of this gorgeous building but I strongly recommend watching a 70mm feature here. Honestly. I'm probably coming back indy to watch dune 2 again. No other way to watch such a movie..

a week agoThe screen was really big, other than that, the seats are extremely uncomfortable and it's too cramped in the theatre. The need to update that place. The Sinners movie was amazing but the theatre ruined the experience for me.

4 months agogot screwed by the technical problems happening here with Interstellar 70mm IMAX not once but twice. but the commitment from staff to fixing it and accommodating viewers is amazing— even with the constraints they were given. especially manager Neale, who clearly cares about customers and his job and the film experience. very cool to see. thanks!

4 months agoSeems like a great location when it's working. Came here from out of town to see Interstellar but unfortunately the screening didn't work. Incredibly disappointing. But the manager was genuinely upset to the point of tears and sincerely apologized. It was out of his hands. I can tell that the staff have a deep appreciation for film. So disappointed this didn't pan out. Unfortunately I can't recommend coming here for a 70mm screening at this time.

3 months agoI attended tonight’s showing of Interstellar at the Indiana State Museum IMAX Theater, and while the quality of the film and the welcoming staff were definite highlights, my experience was unfortunately spoiled by disruptive behavior from a couple sitting near me. Despite several requests to quiet down, the couple continued to talk throughout the movie, which made it incredibly hard to immerse myself in the film. After asking them to stop, I reached out to the theater manager, who made two attempts to address the issue. Unfortunately, their efforts were ineffective, and the couple was not only rude to the manager but continued to chat loudly, completely disregarding the disruption they were causing. What frustrated me most was that after the second attempt from a staff member to quiet the couple, the staff essentially gave up, and no further action was taken. The couple was allowed to continue talking, making the remainder of the movie nearly impossible to enjoy. Not only was it affecting me, but it was clear that the guests around the couple were also getting upset with their disruptive behavior. I understand that handling these situations can be challenging, but when management fails to follow through on requests, it makes me hesitant to return to this theater in the future. If telling management doesn’t lead to a resolution or removal of disruptive patrons, I’m not sure I’ll be coming back for another movie here.
