a month agoSince i was a kid i climbed here, competed with the climbing team, worked here and really grew up here. It hasn’t changed much and i was delighted to see they had expanded since i last visited 10years ago. Routes were marked well and equipment meets or exceeds my standards. Staff is nice and it was great to see the climbing team coach’s working well with the kids. Brought back tons of great memories and wish i could have stayed longer. 10/10

2 months agoIsland Rock is a fantastic venue for a birthday party. We held a birthday party for our 2 children and many of their friends. The staff where incredible! They were eager to help and motivate the children to challenge themselves to conquer a wide variety of climbing walls. It was an amazing time for everyone. I highly recommend Island Rock for parties and team building events. Thank you Ross and team for a memorable experience!

a year agoAs a beginner in the climbing community I felt very welcomed at this gym. It was my 3rd time climbing when I visited Island Rock, I was greeted at the door and signed a quick waiver. I was taken on a tour of the facility, given some info on the level of holds and how to share the space safely with others. I went for the bouldering and spent 2 hours climbing around and I enjoyed it thoroughly! The routes were super fun, creative and had me intrigued the whole time. Great music choices btw!

a week agoHigh heights to conquere, safer than accually doing it, easy to figure out, great place to go with friends, not many people, cheap for the large area of the place to work your expertise on, and depending it doesn't need alot of effort. This is a hidden gem for you 😊.
