💡Pro Tips from Reviews
- →For a peaceful experience on the paved loop or general park serenity, visit during non-game evenings or quiet weekday mornings.
- →Check the back parking lot for 'f-350 size trucks'; if full, it indicates youth baseball games are likely underway, and the park/loop will be crowded.
- →If your primary goal is to use the splash pad, confirm it's the correct season as it's not operational in winter.
- →Be mindful of and look out for careless individuals on large or motorized bicycles while using the paths.
- →Consider visiting in spring to enjoy the flowering trees.
- →The park trails are suitable for walking or running even in winter.
Things to Consider
- ⚠The paved loop (approximately 1 mile) can become crowded, requiring runners to dodge pedestrians.
- ⚠During evenings when youth sports leagues (soccer, baseball, softball) are active, the paved loop is often blocked by 'hundreds' of unsupervised siblings of players, making it difficult to use.
- ⚠There's a potential for careless individuals riding large or motorized bicycles on the paths, requiring vigilance.
- ⚠The splash pad is seasonal and not functional during the winter months.

2 weeks agoThis is a very nice public space and the Anderson Parks Department takes very good care of it. Anderson along with a lot of the Cincinnati area was hit recently by some very hard winds and there were some trees toppled in the park and I was there the next morning and at 9:00 they had already cleaned most of it up. A day later you could not really tell that much had happened. The paved Loop is very nice for walking, and some people jog there. Although you clearly have to dodge a fair number of pedestrians if you're running there and it's not a long Loop for a runner about a mile. During the evenings in nicer weather there are soccer games and baseball games and softball games, mostly for youth leagues of some sort in the early evening. These are very nice, but then the paved Loop is often blocked, not by the parents (who usually bring folding chairs and sit on the grass inside the loop) but by the hundreds of siblings of the players who run around unsupervised and play various games in the middle of the path and tend not to be very observant of what else is going on. As always, look out for those who are careless of others riding large or motorized bicycles. But at other times the park is often very peaceful and idyllic, with some beautiful flowering trees in the spring. One can get a very different impression depending upon when one is there. If the back lot is full of f-350 size trucks you know there's a youth baseball game on.

a year agoThis is a lovely park in a serene environment. There are plenty of play fixtures for the kids to use. The splash pad was not functioning due to the winter season so I could not see how it works. There is a lot of open space and a mini trail for walking around the area. It was nice.👍

3 months agoThis park is spacious and has something for everyone. Come on right now it’s winter time and there are still people walking or running the trails and bringing their dogs to the park. At the same time, it’s also quite peaceful and very pretty. It’s not too far away from anything, but while you’re you are able to feel like you’re far away from everything.

a year agoWonderful park with great play areas. The shaded area is so nice for young toddlers. They also have a splash pad. It’s a great place to take the kids and enjoy yourself as well.
