a year ago★☆☆☆☆ Popularity ★☆☆☆☆ Size/Location ★★★☆☆ Terrain ★★☆☆☆ Scenery ★★★★☆ Accessibility ★★★★☆ Amenities ★★★☆☆ Condition ★★★★★ Safety Date visited: 09/16/2023 My visit to this park, nestled conveniently in the neighborhood, was an unexpected delight. Finding a parking spot was a breeze, thanks to the two parking lots available—one of them quite spacious and conveniently located near a shopping center. As I arrived, I was greeted by a lively scene. The park buzzed with activity as people of all ages enjoyed its various amenities. I couldn't help but notice the cheerful atmosphere around me. Families picnicked on the grass, and I spotted a father and his daughter engaged in a playful game in one of the open fields. The park was well-equipped to cater to a wide range of interests, boasting soccer, baseball, tennis, and basketball fields. The spirited sounds of games being played added to the park's vibrant ambiance. Close by, a community center seemed to be hosting an event, as parents and children bustled in and out. It was heartwarming to witness the sense of community that this park fostered. Thoughtful amenities dotted the park's landscape, making it exceptionally visitor-friendly. Benches and picnic tables were strategically placed, offering convenient spots for rest and relaxation. Drinking fountains provided respite on a warm day, ensuring everyone stayed refreshed. Portable potties were thoughtfully placed throughout the park, further enhancing the overall experience. My exploration of the park began on a paved trail, which, while less shaded, was in good condition. I noticed a faint odor near the manholes along the path, which was a minor inconvenience. As I casually strolled along the trail, I marveled at the park's ability to provide a tranquil escape despite being nestled in a busy neighborhood. The hushed atmosphere was a pleasant surprise. As I continued my walk and passed through a steep hill, I stumbled upon another playground nestled at the foot of the slope. This playground, unlike the quieter areas of the park, was bustling with activity, as families and children reveled in the joy of play. Not wanting to disrupt their cheerful playtime, I opted to explore the other side of the park. Overall, I would recommend this park to anyone seeking an enjoyable outdoor experience. It is an ideal destination for families, especially parents and children looking to create lasting memories together. Just be mindful of the occasional sewer odors, which are a minor inconvenience compared to the overall charm of this neighborhood park.

5 years agoMy review focuses more on the tennis courts rather than the overall playground/water park. Went here to practice on the tennis wall but was severely disappointed with the maintenance and quality of the court. There's a storm drain near the court and I can only assume that there was an overflow onto the court with the black dirt which was scatter about. A lot of places smelled like urine and it was unbearable after about 30 minutes. The practice wall is a bit warn out and the returns were inconsistent. Overall really disappointed with the court maintenance with the but the playground and other fields look well maintained. Sadly I'll find another place to practice.
