Lake Wheeler Park

Such a great place park !! Everything here, picnic pavilions, tables, kayaking, boating (ramps for all), fishing pier, play space for children, rocking chairs on the deck to look over the lake, lake trails, just a lovely place to spend a day !!

Nice place to go and enjoy the water. Play areas for kids. You can put your boat in the water and water ski. There is a big rocking chair porch and plenty of exploring to do

A Very serene and scenic. A nice place to sit and relax. You can fish, kayak, picnic hike, exercise , bbq , picnic or take the kids to playground. They have rentable deck, picnic shelter or kayaks.

Lake Wheeler Park in Raleigh is a fantastic spot for a day out! I spent Labor Day there and was blown away by the scenic beauty. The park is home to lots of beautiful ducks and has great fishing spots that are perfect for relaxing. The multiple marinas add to the charm, and I was excited to see the new Wake Wreck station, which offers kayak rentals—perfect for anyone looking to explore the lake from the water. It's a great place to unwind and enjoy nature!
