a month agoLexington Children’s Museum is a fantastic place for kids to explore, play, and learn! There are plenty of hands-on exhibits that keep little ones engaged and entertained. However, some areas could use a bit of an upgrade to refresh the experience and keep things exciting. Despite that, it’s still a great spot for family fun.

3 months agoWe were in town for the weekend. My friends and I decided to take the kids (1, 2 &4) on Saturday morning to break up the day. We had a great time at the LCM! It was very busy which I’m sure is typical for Saturday morning. With so many people, it was pretty close quarters in many of the exhibits. I recommend going as soon as they open because the crowd started around 11:30. The kids loved the bubble room and the gravity marble run. The only downfall is public parking of $12 and adults must pay $10 to enter the museum as well. We love to stop at children’s museums while traveling and I’m thankful to have found one in Lexington!

a year agoExcellent place to be. It was perfectly laid our so the noise was controlled. It wasn't overcrowded. There were engaging activities for my 5 children ages 2-13. The highlight was the kids courtroom. Hilarious play acting happened there. The toddler space was integrated such that parents can attend littles and still be available to bigger kids that need less supervision. The bubble room was fun, but very challenging. We couldn't get the bubble wall to work at all. The be inside a bubble was hard to figure out, but we got it eventually. Build your own dinosaur skeleton and make dinosaur footprints were fun. The airplane simulator was a bit dangerous for little kids climbing in and out. My 4 year old took a hard spill even though I was sitting right with him. The horse exhibit was a delight. I had to pull the kids away at museum closing. Great job guys!

a month agoThis is a great place to take the kids! We just had our oldest 3rd birthday party and all the kids had a ball. They did an activity with the kids and the lady that did it Abby was fantastic with the kids! I remember going there as a kid and now I'm taking my sons there and having just as much fun with them. Couldn't recommend it enough.

a year agoHad my granddaughter's birthday party here and the atmosphere was great. The employees was very helpful. The party room was a great size. And all the kids, we're so excited to play with all the different toys. The prices are reasonable.
