"I always have a great experience when i visit. Attended Zoo lights again. It was even better this year. It's more vibrant. More characters and lights. Music everywhere and some of the animal exhibits were open, so we went to the zoo as well, if you get what i mean. Food, fun, festive!"

"Love the experience, the ability to go in on any of the available gates just walk in and enjoy the beauty, even the architecture of the pavilions is nice the entrances and the interior really nice! Surprised that pretty much 85% of the zoo is actually open in winter. As many animals are sensitive to temperatures so extreme as the ones in Chicago. But it's nice to have close spaces to admire the beauty of the animals. And the preservation and study efforts from the zoo itself. I will definitely go back!"

"This is a spectacular zoo considering it's free. I think I go extremely lucky on this visit because the weather was perfect (not too hot, not too cold, 66 degrees F). Thursday morning, so it wasn't crowded, but there were school groups, and a lot of people going for exercise. Pretty much all the animals were active and it was surprising how big it was! The zoo did a great job in making it easy to navigate and I was so happy that I took the time to stop by. I spent a couple of hours here just taking my time and enjoying everything there was to see."
