4 months agoOur first experience with Little Lovage is through the Newbies Parent Support Group. I am so grateful that I joined this group - Vanessa is a fantastic facilitator, always providing a fun & non-judgemental environment to help us get through the first few months as new parents. So glad I joined!

a year agoI heard of Little Lovage Club (LLC) from a friend who recommended "The newbie class". My seven week old son and I loved the class. It helped me as a first time mom feel more confident in my decisions and also helped meet other new Mom's in the area. Fast forward a year, we are still enjoying the LLC and my now one year old son loves playing.. not only does he wear himself out and takes an excellent nap after, but he has excelled as the LLC is designed to help children develop physical, socially and mentally. My son has lots of little friends and I'm still in close touch with the Mom's that I met at the Newbie Class last year. I'd highly recommend the class for new Mom's as you start to navigate a new chapter and for Mom's looking to meet others in the neighborhood!

a year agoThe parent support groups at Lovage are an absolute lifeline for new parents. I did newbies (0-3 mos) and Kangas (3-6 mos) with my first baby and Here We Go Again (second time moms) and Kangas again with my second. Having mom friends in the neighborhood who are going through the exact same experiences at the same time is huge (talking about breastfeeding and infant poop is super boring for anyone but a fellow new mom). The classes are facilitated group therapy and really uplifting (Vanessa is an amazing facilitator) and all of my groups have met up outside of class for walks, lunch, etc. Some have even become long term friends. Lovage has been an amazing resource for my family and a huge part of our south end parents of small kids community. Highly recommend!

a year agoLittle Lovage parent support groups saved me in the early days of parenthood. It allowed me to meet other moms in the area, learn so much, and develop a community for my daughter. I could not recommend it enough! It is so fun to see the babies grow, but continue to have a support system beyond out initial groups. I can't wait to use the space and classes as my little one gets older!

a year agoI have done both the Newbie's and Here we go ago groups at Lovage Club and I cannot say enough good things about these groups! In both cases I had a team member, most recently Vanessa, facilitate a helpful discussion each week reserving plenty of room for the parents to tackle any topics of interest. I have also met such nice other moms in each of these groups that I have stayed friends with well beyond class. Whether you think you have enough support, friends. etc or not it DOES take a village and both times I found expanding my circle to include new friends from Lovage was a great choice!
