Little Sugar Creek Greenway (Sharon Road West)

"Just wanted to review this fantastic, long (or short, depending on your mood) greenway near me. It's stunningly beautiful and goes along the water. We've got some dedicated runners, bikers, and even daily dog walkers enjoying it. The best part? It's just a 2-minute walk from my apartment. Always in excellent condition, clean, well-maintained with clear directions to guide you. Spring and fall here are pure bliss. And trust me, it's hot as heck during the summer, but that's NC for you! 😅 I'd recommend it 10 / 10 for anyone, regardless of your age. It's truly a treat for the eyes. 🌳🌼"

"The Greenway runs from PNC Arena on North side of Charlotte, NC through Downtown Charlotte to the South Carolina State line - maybe farther N or S. We stopped in on of the many entry points & walked for an hour or so. Bikes & walkers, strollers & scooters all share the greenway. So do the deer - large population of deer - spotted about a dozen the day we were there. Great signage & some locations have clean public restrooms. See maps for details. Certainly like this pathway & expect to use it over & over as we have time in Charlotte."

"This is a spectacular urban greenway. Some parts are under construction right now but still doable with a detour. Lots of trail to explore all the way to the SC border."
