2 months agoThis was the BEST experience ever. Me and 2 friends went and did the VIP experience which was absolutely worth it. We learned so much about the animals and the farm. After the experience we went to Bambi land and had so much fun with the deer. Definitely worth the trip!

6 months agoRecently went on a Private Zookeeper Tour and it was a blast! It's a fully-guided tour, that's over an hour long and includes up-close Capybara & Wallaby encounters. We also got to pet and feed camels, goats (even baby goats), donkeys and deer. We even pet a zebra! The package includes admission, animal food and the encounters for four people, but you can add up to two more. Our group of five (four 50+ year olds and an 18 year old) animal lovers, loved it! Sue, our zookeeper and her intern, Dory, were great! They took time to answer all of our questions and were happy to take group photos of us. We were happy to learn that the founding couple's daughters have taken over and are leaning into animal conservation and sanctuary, making sure none of their animals come from the wild. It was a great experience and after the tour ends, you're free to stay and explore the rest of the Long Island Game Farm. I also had the pleasure of speaking with Eileen in the office a couple of times, before the tour and she was just a delight. She was so friendly and helpful! Highly recommend!

8 months agoMy fiance and I decided to do our engagement shoot here. We booked the private tour which was beyond amazing and totally worth it! The animals were so fun and well kept (our favorite were the llamas and goats). Their staff is absolutely amazing and extremely accommodating. I dealt directly with Eileen who helped me book this event, she is a sweetheart! Unfortunately the date we had booked, it rained horribly but they were so accommodating to change the date last minute to ensure we got amazing pictures. Melinda (the owner) and Stacey were absolutely fantastic as well. Stacey gave us the tour and helped ensure my photographer was able to get good photos. They have so many different animals here and they were all so nice and friendly. I can not express how amazing the staff and animals were! Absolutely a wonderful place and experience! 8 months agoAmazing family activity! I was suprised that we were allowed to walk into a few of the exhibits and interacts with the animals and you can even buy a bucket of food and feed them. Exhibits were also clean and you can tell the animals are well cared for and happy. Cute gift shop, snack stand, and clean restrooms.

10 months agoVisited from out of state. Was really impressed with all the animals. They looked well taken care of and the place was in great shape. Friendly staff and beautiful animals. I love peacocks 🦚 and I remember the beautiful male every time I tried to snap a photo he would turn the other way. After 5 shot of his side..I was finally able to see him in full feather beauty.
