Magee Recreation Center

"Magee Rec is a gem in our town. Everything from the activities to the genuinely caring director Erica and crew is a gift to the kids who attend there. I love that the kids have a place to spend time with each other, have fun, learn, play sports, and, most importantly, a safe place. I know this place will be a staple of a memory for our children to share stories with their own in the future."

"This is my favorite spot to work out. $5 a month for the weight room, which is never really crowded. The basketball court is usually booked, but if it happens to be open, they allow members to pop in and play a few games until the next reservation is there. It's everything you could need in a gym, and I'm proud to support the city parks."

"I grew up here if it wasn't for these young kids that make a mess and I will keep it nice. That place is awesome inside and out. Maybe the city workers should pick it up a little too busy over Homewood and the Hill district"
