a year agoMagee Rec is a gem in our town. Everything from the activities to the genuinely caring director Erica and crew is a gift to the kids who attend there. I love that the kids have a place to spend time with each other, have fun, learn, play sports, and, most importantly, a safe place. I know this place will be a staple of a memory for our children to share stories with their own in the future.

5 years agoThis is my favorite spot to work out. $5 a month for the weight room, which is never really crowded. The basketball court is usually booked, but if it happens to be open, they allow members to pop in and play a few games until the next reservation is there. It's everything you could need in a gym, and I'm proud to support the city parks.

a year agoI grew up here if it wasn't for these young kids that make a mess and I will keep it nice. That place is awesome inside and out. Maybe the city workers should pick it up a little too busy over Homewood and the Hill district

9 years agoThe new guest check in system is annoying, but they are all working hard to learn it and make it painless. The gym is nice and clean. The restrooms could use a little remodeling as some fixtures don't really work, but all in all the employees are nice and the facility is functional.

11 years agoMagee Rec Center and staff are the best! They are totally kid and family-centric, and offer so many programs for the youth in the community. My high school son created his first fundraiser dodgeball tournament. He had a difficult time finding a facility that would accommodate all of the teams. But Magee was great. They were very supportive and impressed by his initiative. I had heard great things about Magee and their staff as a community gem in Greenfield, but now I am sold! Thank you Magee Rec Center and Staff. The City of Pittsburgh Parks and Recreation should be proud of the Magee Rec Center director and staff!
