Midlothian Mines Park

This park is such a peaceful place where I can walk around calmly and recharge. It’s a beautiful walking area with a natural view where the lake and greenery come together!

This is such a nice place for a hike, everybody seems to come here. Today a lot of people are taking graduation photos, and it's a great area for them. It's mostly accessible to everyone, but after the rains, we just had some of the trails and access points are really muddy. And the bridge was slippery. Birds, bullfrogs, herons, and turtles, abundant. I can't think of a season. I've been here that hasn't been peaceful and inviting.

So lucky to live close by. I love walking/running this trail!

Very walkable and enjoyable park. It is a convenient stop with plenty of parking. I enjoyed the sitting benches that were available throughout the trail and the viewing/fishing piers around the lake! There are plenty of areas to sit in the sun and shaded areas as well for relaxing and small picnics, activities, etc. Photos Complimentary of the Google Pixel 6 Pro
