a year agoStreet parking only. Just a small walk to water. Kayak launch is nice. We went down river towards the naval park and to the light house. Even with a bit of a breeze the river was calm and mostly protected from it. Got a bit choppy as we made it to the little rock and out towards the light house. We got there early and the launch and river we empty but coming back on a beautiful summer Friday or was getting busy.

4 years ago*(Just went Kayaking for the 1st time while camping for labor day weekend. So keeping in mind this was my 2nd time ever, and 1st time obviously going to any location to launch)* The location is easy to google/find. I LOVE the system they have to get yourself in & out. It's easy to roll in & pull yourself out. 🛶

4 years agoLove coming here for kayaking. Dedicated kayak launch (and NO boat launch, so no competing with other watercraft). Limited street parking but there's a nearby lot that people use. A lot of "no standing" signs but I haven't ever seen anyone make a big deal about pulling up, offloading your kayak, then finding a place to park.

5 years agoMutual Park is a well-kept park along the Buffalo River. Its location provides the perfect photo shooting angle for the silos along the river. It also has a small canoe/kayak launch for those that want to row their way through the silos. The park itself offers some green space for picnic and also some signage explaining the history behind the park and the silos. Street parking is available close by the park, but the park itself does not actually have a parking lot.

2 years agoI thought it would be a much larger park. For its size it was well tended and near the water. Still a great spot to rest .or bring the children .
