"Nice trails of you want a quick walk off the beaten path. The Old Forest loop can be done at casual walking pace in under an hour. If you want something longer and more remote I recommend Meeman-Shelby forest."

"What a beautiful urban park setting combining an excellent dog park and soft stone, tree lined, walking paths. Add paved jogging paths and you have a formula for a good time. This park has anchors of the Memphis Zoo, art center and open areas for music. ALL FREE. Plenty of parking is several large areas. Get some urban outdoor exercise. Bring the dog (on a leash in the walking park or OFF Leash in the dog park)"
