a month agoThe Terra Luna Experience was off the chain amazing! Only thing is they don't allow time if your disabled. Or the shuttle leaves without you. We thought they'd come pick up people that ran behind due to things like disabilities. But thet did not and my friend who is disabled and could not make it through Terra Luna in the prescribed time we were late and had to beg rides from strangers in golf carts and cars to get back to our car at the school were it was parked. We had no idea they'd leave the disabled people to fend for themselves. Disabled people can't get through in the allotted amount of time it's just not possible with the crowd sizes. They need to let people know this is not something that disabled people can join in on. Because of crowd sizes and shuttle schedules. It would have been good information before we came. We even asked prior to attending if there were places to rest and catch our breath if we could catch up later with the crowd because my friend was disabled and she has a handicapped placard and everything she has heartfailure. They said on the phone it was no problem. I wish they would have told us no and we'd have to stay with the crowd no matter what to make the shuttle schedule. We were scared we weren't gonna make it back to the car. Because I'm disabled too. I couldn't have walked the mile or so to the car to pick her back up. Other than that we had an wonderful experience while going through Terra Luna. It's too bad they don't have another shuttle to come pick you up on the 9 o'clock showing. They should've suggested we come at the 7 o'clock one. We could've gone through it for 4 hours if needed. I wouldn't have minded going that slow or resting that long on a mile walk.

8 months agoI recently visited this stunning garden and was thoroughly impressed by its charm and family-friendly features. The landscape is beautifully designed, with vibrant flowers, lush greenery, and serene pathways that make for a delightful stroll. The garden’s play areas are perfect for children, offering a variety of engaging and safe activities that kept the little ones entertained for hours. The highlight, however, is the enchanting little train that chugs along, adding a magical touch to the experience. It’s a wonderful place for families to enjoy quality time together in a picturesque setting. Highly recommend for a day out with kids! Very cheap ticket, only $5 for adults

6 months agoAutumn has stolen the show and become our favorite season. The crazy gold, red, yellow, and orange colors are going out with a bang, giving summer one last hurrah. Most blooms have fizzled to their final sparkle, but we still enjoyed a Sunday stroll at the Overland Park arboretum.
