Overture Center for the Arts

My family and I love the Overture Center. There is so much to do and see. They bring in some great shows from around the nation and world. The Madison Symphony Orchestra is amazing, and we see about 4 or 5 shows a year. I would recommend this checking out a show sometime.

Been here multiple times to see shows- ballets, operas, concerts and Broadway. this venu is home to the Madison Ballet, Madison Opera, Madison Symphony Orchestra..and it gets some really fantastic touring productions! It's always an amazing time. There are no bad seats in any of the halls, I think. Parking is right across the street, and easy to access (and get out of.) It's a beautiful building and a really wonderful venue for all sorts of amazing shows.

My first time at the overture center was an experience I will never forget. The traditional Irish band danu' with special guest nell ni chr'oinin singing in gealic is an experience of a lifetime. The sound and lighting during the concert was perfect and parking was within a block of the center also the staff is knowledgeable and helpful.

I once took a historical walking tour of Madison where the tour guide referred to the Overture Center for the Arts as "Madison's crown jewel". Both the gorgeous Overture Hall and the historic Capitol Theater are visually stunning with exceptional audio quality. The dramatic architecture creates an experience of its own, offering many photo opportunities in areas connecting the event spaces. A particular highlight is the iconic view of the Wisconsin State Capitol, framed by the Promenade Lobby’s towering glass windows. What truly sets the Overture Center apart, in my opinion, is the staff. My experience working with the Events team was incredible—they impressed me with their professionalism, competence, and creativity. Their dedication and expertise are exactly what you’d expect from a world-class event venue, making the Overture Center truly live up to its reputation as one of Madison's most spectacular places for events.

Such a great venue! And amazingly helpful staff! As season ticket holders for nearly a decade, I'm still both surprised and grateful for the supportive and responsive staff members- from BoxOffice to House Staff and all stops in between, we always feel well cared for. It's a great season of shows, and the experience of seeing them there raises the bar 10 fold- Beautiful, good sound, comfortable seats, easy parking, and of course... The Staff is great! Thanks for making our theatrical adventures such a joy!
