"If you want to experience a wide array of fauna and flora this is an excellent little oasis in an urban environment. So accommodating. Great facilities as far as restroom and places to sit and relax. Very family friendly with well maintained trails and well marked. A excellent dog park for taking your furry family to have a great time. Picnic tables that are right next to the playground for the kids or a nice lunch. Just a wonderful little place to escape the city and relax."

"Wonderful nature preserve in the heart of San Antonio. Great for walking and running, obviously weather dependent, but even on scattered showers the paths were not muddy, and the aggregate was well drained, minus one spot. Parking is a little hidden amongst the trees, and I wish it was a little more open but ample just the same. It is very quiet and filled with nature. I saw multiple pairs of deer that kept their distance but were not that afraid of people. I love the nature bridge highway crossings. I can imagine this is a nice spot to get away from the city in better weather. It was"

"Large, beautiful park with plenty of trails varying in degrees of smoothness and lots of wildlife to spot throughout. Came through mid January so I'm looking forward to making a second trip during the Spring/Summer."
