6 months agoI had a great hike here. Very nice views, a bit challenging in some areas, it's easy to go off course so use Alltrails or a similar app. There's a lot of signage earlier on.

a month agoWent hiking with my kids. It’s kids friendly but just half ways. Went all the way up with my oldest and the view is beautiful! Scary but worth it. We went none hiking shoes lol but went slowly. Worth it!!! Left a little mark :)

7 months agoThis hike was a work-out! Lots of climbing over rocks while you work your way through the wash. I had a good time and there were some great views.

a year agoPretty area with a short trail up to view a rocky wash. First part of the trail is wide and accessible, last part is steeper. Quite a bit of work has been done recently on the trail in the narrower part and there are arrows to guide people and hopefully reduce erosion due to people trying to slide their way up the gravel and plants. If you do venture further off the official trail, the best way to prevent more erosion is to stick to the bare rocks. The trail also connects to the larger foothills network via trail 365

a year agoOne of my favorite hiking spots by the Sandias which includes Easy to Hard trails nearby for all ages and levels. Rock-climbing options as well. Plenty of mini caves, wildlife and views to spend a few hours exploring.
