"We really enjoy the Heart of the Beast Puppet Show during the May Day celebration on the first Sunday in May. The park is large with a playground overlooking a small lake, walking paths, and lots of green areas. During the festivities there are vendors, food trucks, music, and more."

"Powderhorn is a wonderful park. 4 separate playgrounds, 2 recently updated. New wading pool in the summer. Building has a gym, pottery studio, and a couple other rooms. Ice skating when weather permits."
