a week agoabsolutely stunning grounds! Came here on a beautiful afternoon with some girlfriends and it was really nice to walk around! Every corner returned there was another beautiful flower tree or plant as well as as a vantage point/look out which we thought was deserving of a wedding/proposal… just a stunning place overall! A very reasonable price for admission, not busy, and easily accessible from the city

a week agoWent here on their free admission day! The flowers are gorgeous and the gift shop has some of the best looking honey I’ve ever seen. Also there’s a floral patch in the garden that smells super nice. I saw a heron in the river and a couple ducks as well. Perfect for a spring/summer date.

2 weeks agoGet your butt to Red Butte! Took me several years living in SLC to get up here but now I'm a renewing annual member. Gardens are beautiful throughout the year thospring and fall are especially beautiful with the flowers. Don't miss the wisteria in the spring 👌🏼 Love the different areas of the gardens including medicinal and fragrant herbs, drought tolerant plants, children's garden, creek/waterfalls and even an indoor tropical space. Very familly friendly. Even the birds and bees love it here 😉 Today I wheeled my pregnant friend around and the gardens provided a wheelchair free of charge! We found the trails and paths very friendly (bring your glutes for the uphill parts)💪🏻 Pro tip: bring your work up to the tropical area for a quiet place with a great view Pro tip 2: bring a picnic and eat amongst the trees or flowers.

3 months agoI recently had the opportunity to second shoot two weddings at Red Butte Garden, and it was absolutely breathtaking. The vibrant variety of gardens, scenic pathways, and stunning mountain views provided endless opportunities for capturing natural, timeless moments. The venue’s outdoor spaces were a dream for both ceremonies and portraits, with perfect light throughout the day. The staff was professional and attentive, making everything flow smoothly for the couple and vendors. Red Butte Garden is a truly magical setting, and I’d love to shoot there again! 2 months agoSo peaceful. It was enjoyable just to walk through and observe all of the greenery and fountains. There are several benches along the creekside trail that were relaxing to sit at, and quite a bit of wildlife around 🐿
