"Generally very friendly staff here with a good selection but had a poor experience today. Checkout lady denied me using membership points because it was technically under my mom. While I understand that this might be policy, it is frustrating when I could simply use those points online, and have even used them at that same store before with different employees. "This place is huge!!! And has so many things. What are you into? They got it. Biking. Hiking. Camping. Anything outdoors you could possibly need. The prices are a bit much. But a lot of the products they sell are high quality. So it’s not asking toooo much. There’s a sample section of a lot of food packets and things for your pets. Socks that help organizations. Just so many things everywhere. Just a neat place to spend a couple hours to see some really neat products."

"Love the REI located in Pittsburgh’s Southside! The entire store is always clean and freshly stocked. Team members are awesome! Over the years the service has remained the same. Whether it’s snowboard service or buying new running shoes, they always deliver! They also have a one time membership for $30 that is well worth it. I do not shop here often and my membership has more than tripled in return dollars! I highly encourage anyone who bikes, runs, or loves the outdoors to pay them a visit."
