"Customer service is pretty bad! My husband and I went to REI last night, hoping to purchase a pair of hiking boots and a pair of running shoes. When we arrived, the salesman was assisting ("chatting with") a couple of gals, so we patiently waited for him to become available (15-20 minutes). During that time he did not acknowledge us whatsoever, even though it was obvious we were waiting for assistance. When the gals left, he immediately offered to help another young lady who had just walked into the shoe department. At that point it was obvious that we were not the type of people he enjoy"

"a very large and extensive shop with mountain equipment and more. an exceptionally large selection of bikes for a mountain store - REI. there is also a large palette of shoes for climbing, cycling and mountain hiking. the store also has a climbing wall inside but I am not sure if it is open to customers. Very nice lady selling and other sellers were very cultured - RECOMMEND."
