a month agoMaintenance on this facility reflects the incompetence and neglect of the people in charge of keeping this park in excellent condition to make it avaliable for the public. Soccer field ought to be sprinkle an hour previous to the game, the dust is so intense that makes it difficult to breathe as the game is taking place. Restrooms flooded not suitable for the people's use, running to bushes it becomes an alternative. Toilet and urinals and restrooms constraction are decadent it seems to be ignored by the city of Phoenix . This will require a brand new restrooms facilities with more than one toilet and one urinal. No question that human higiene and public schools are not on top of the list in the city of Phoenix.

7 months agoOne of the finest sports parks publicly owned. Named after the finest female Governor ever in the United States(IMO). This park is still well maintained since her days of an Umpire, Official, and Governor. Conveniently located in what is now "Central Metro Phoenix" and now on the light rail! Fields for Softball and Baseball, Soccer (football to many), Basketball Courts, Tennis Courts, Pickleball, Racquetball, a new DOG PARK and much more. Family Friendly for your daughters, sons, and personal recreation. As a sports official this is A GEM the City of Phoenix should be proud of and never allow a park of such great and historic significance to degrade. While current condition could be improved it is significantly better than many less than the professional parks. Visit, visit with family and loved ones and enjoy.
