Round1 Bowling & Arcade Westfield Plaza Bonita

This place is only 8 months old and over 20% of the machines are broken. I sent an inquiry to corporate asking when it was expected to be fixed and have received no response. (Super professional…) This place is a great idea - combining the best of Dave and Busters with Punch Bowl Social but overall, it doesn’t fully deliver. I came here on a Saturday night around 7:30 PM and it was completely overcrowded with children and families, there was absolutely no parking in the parking lot, and the line for food was extremely long. It was hard to walk to the bathroom due to people being everywhere. I hope they get it together soon. This place could be really fun, but I would absolutely not be paying for a private party if all the machines aren’t working properly. I think it would also be great if management could make it adults only after 10 PM . Shouldn’t children be in bed at this time anyway?

Absolutely had a blast today at grand opening!! We won a ton of stuffed animals. Be warned the games are mostly crane games so if that's not your thing then set your expectations. The best part is how you can win on these games! I highly recommend coming! The staff was great, super nice and very helpful! Edit: 4/1/25 They changed out a lot of the machines to be the skill based ones which are still fun, but in regards to the claw machines a ton of them were made weaker which really sucked. It was a total bummer and even some of the skill based ones, the claws were extremely weak and wouldn't budge anything even in the right spots. The ball drop games had the bowls moved out of reach of the claw so that was a bummer too. Overall it seems the quality of the machines have greatly declined. I was super disappointed.

Really cool arcade with lots of games and claw machines/crane machines. They have imported games such as Initial D and claw machines exclusively from Japan. Fun time for both kids and adults!

THIS IS THE BEST ROUND1 LOCATION! FAIR PRIZES, GREAT GAMES, ALWAYS CLEAN! I've been to the burbank location as well on my review. Round 1 is absolutely amazing and the staff is always great. The crane games are really fair and all the UFO catchers too. Selection of games is peak as well! Sound voltex, tetote x connect, dance rush stardom, Music Diver, and TAIKO NO TATSUJIN! The street fighter 6 machine is a full arcade machine that's updated to the latest patch pretty quickly too. Pull up and play some rounds of street fighter. There's also some crazy racing game everyone goes nuts on called wangan midnight dx something. Food-wise its standard round1 fare, the craziest item is mozzarella cheesesticks with pizza sauce and pepperoni. I highly reccomend buying a fountain drink as it is infinite refills.

I just wish the machines paid out more, but that is just business. Shout out to Shawn (manager, hope I got the right spelling), he helped us out to the best of his ability. Place is nice.
