San Jose Ghosts: Ghost Tours & Haunted Pub Crawls

Our tour guide, Jesse, was super enthusiastic with great facts and interesting stories. His energy kept the tour fun! We've lived in San Jose for a long time but there were still a lot we did not know about. We loved it!

It was an amazing experience given this was my first time in San Jose. Best birthday weekend getaway to start with this tour. Learned a lot about San Jose and its creepy and scary events. Will definitely recommend if you want to learn about San Jose and its tails.

Booked this tour to celebrate my birthday with my cousins. Originally took a tour with US Ghost Adventures like 3 years ago during a trip to LA and wanted to experience it in my hometown. Thanks to my tour guide Lexi, our group had a great time learning about San Jose’s gruesome history and paranormal stories! Definitely will do this again to experience the extended tour.

Spooky city history told at a lively pace. Our guide Jesse was passionate, witty, and full of stories about the dark secrets in San Jose’s distant and recent past, from the depths of the New Almaden Cinnabar Mines to the heights of the Saint-Claire (now Westin) hotel and back again. The walk covers several blocks and is well lit. Note that the tour can easily exceed the posted 1-hour mark, but we found it totally worth it!

First and most definitely not the last ghost tour I will take! Matt was an excellent tour guide. He had so much knowledge about San Jose's history and all the creepy things that come along with it. His story telling skills were so good, I got the chills at more than one of our stops. It was raining during our tour but it made the experience even spookier. EMF readers we super fun to use. I highly recommend the tour if you live or stop by San Jose. Thanks for the tour, Matt!
