3 weeks agoMy family and I were in town visiting, and we came across this discovery center. We have visited a few and have always had a great experience. My son was excited to go in and play however was disappointed when he realized some of the activities weren’t working or set up at all. He was most excited for this kids market, but tea mixed it was a complete mess and was very unmotivated to play. This was very disappointing. We paid $30 to enter and feel as if it was just a waste of money. I expected so much more from this place, but we will not be returning.

a month agoGreat hands on fun for kids and parents. Everything is hands-on with activities like air rockets, giant operation game, topographic maps, paper airplane launcher, etc. there is also a play HEB grocery store. We stayed for probably 2 hours.

6 months agoI brought my granddaughter while fall break in Plano was going on and had an awesome time exploring with her. As a 5 year old it’s important to have interactive experiences. We went when it opened so it wasn’t crowded and we weren’t rushed off of each adventure. She absolutely love it. She didn’t want to leave. The area with the teacher and hands on learning was the best part. She was amazing. I’d say this would be a great space to bring your children.

11 months agoWe stopped here during a family vacation to Dallas. We homeschool so we love STEM based exhibits. You’ll find 2 different areas on one floor to explore. My kids loved the hands on experiments with electricity, resonance, and air pressure. It’s one thing to learn from books. But nothing beats hands on experience with experiments! And that’s the real value of visiting here. Think of this like a fun learning experience. You won’t have to push your kids to learn. They’ll do it automatically. Tickets were easy to buy from the website. The experience was not crowded which was great. Hidden find: don’t forget to go outside and check out the whisper dishes. Also… Tickets you buy are only good for the science tech discovery center and NOT the video game museum.

a month agoNot worth the price and definitely wasn’t what I was expecting. It acts more like a play museum for very young kids rather than a Science museum. Materials from various stations were missing. I would recommend this for toddlers and for first graders at best. This place is small and my 7 year old who loves Science found this extremely boring. They also do timed entry but no one checks when you enter. This experience makes me question the quality of the other museums in the building.
