2 years agoLinda and I finally had the opportunity to visit the "new" (after 2 years) the new walk-through aquarium tanks; of which there are 3 connecting tanks. Only 1 was open on the 20th of September. A Sea Lion playfully darted around a huge rock inside. One tank takes the observer under the pass-over connector. Another places you on the surface of the water connector with the fish swimming under your feet. But, the MOST FUN today was touching the Sting Ray in their large salt water tank located in its own building. I was seen petting the Sting Ray rather than just using my two fingers dangling in the water - and soon to feel their slick, spongy backs like soft vinyl; almost a delicate squishy feel. They REALLY enjoyed the attention today, as there were not many visitors. Well, please enjoy the pictures and shortened video. - Keith Carey (Psalm 37. 100)

2 years agoThis was a nice aquarium to visit while we took a break from the hot sun. We went to the zoo for my 3 year old birthday and she had so much fun seeing the animals and interacting with them. She was having so much fun running around trying to race the penguins. Lol We will definitely do this portion again on our next visit.

2 years agoThis was a nice section. I appreciated all the indoor exhibits since it was cold on the day of my trip. There's the 4D theater and a playground for kids. Lots of statues to take photos with.

a year agoNice aquarium but could be bigger. Only went in to use the restroom. Avoid the fountain water. Tastes like lead pipes.
