a month agoI like the instructor, she has combination of orobic, stretching, and weight lifting. And the music she chooses also was good and motivating. I like that the class is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I was going to mostly all of them, but recently joined a line dance class on Tuesday. It would be great if the YMCA has something like line dance for seniors. Not only exercises the body but also the brain. Also, the location is good for me and doesn't take me long to get there.

4 months agoThe SV YMCA has been my family’s go-to gym for years! The staff is super friendly, the facility is clean and for it’s size, has an excellent variety of equipment and classes. The E-Gym has been part of my weekly routine for two months now and I’m seeing results!

8 months agoIf I had to describe South Valley YMCA Swim Lessons in one word, it would be *legit*. We’ve done swim lessons with the kids in 3 different locations around the bay before finding SVYMCA and we’ll tell everyone who will listen that this is the place to take your kids to actually LEARN to swim. We’re moving and are still considering how we can figure out getting back over there for just swim lessons. (Though we’ve been members there and it’s true of ALL their offerings.) To put it mildly, we are fans.

5 months agoI love the swim lessons at the South Valley family YMCA. The instructors have been professional and very encouraging. My daughter looks forward to her swim lessons twice a week and has been building so much confidence in the water!
