Opening night for "Les Miserables"! This is a shortened edition for students, but still with the same amazing impact. Spotlight Theater continues to excel in every way with impressive performances. Why go to Broadway when you can see our own valley teens perform such inspiring material. If you have a teen in your clan, take them to one of these shows and get them off their phones! There's a real world out there.

Caught Fun Home here last night. It was phenomenal! The singing was wonderful, the live band was excellent and the acting was incredibly well done! I was impressed at how well each of the young actors fully embodied their characters. Especially with the mature topics of this show. We're lucky to have such an active, passionate and talented theatre community in the valley. That goes for the youth and adult theatres alike. If you've never been, just go! You won't know what you were missing until you do!

This place is incredible! My daughter started at Spotlight around age 8, attending summer camps and participating in their performance troupes. This past season (age 11) she did her first show at Spotlight. SYT offers top notch theater training in an inclusive, accepting and encouraging environment! The community is wonderful and we are forever grateful to the amazing team there. They offer camps, performance troupes, and workshops and put out some of the best youth theater anywhere! Thank you Spotlight!

I admiringly call this place the Off Broadway of Phoenix youth theatre. It's far from the usual ones (doing an excellent job of serving the west side better) but draws the best talent from across the Valley with diverse, delightful and challenging plays, periodically edgy for youth theatre -- they're doing Hair right now for example -- but also do "gentler" works for younger casts. Check them out. They deserve a larger audience and a bigger venue.

I've had the privilege of watching and performing in many of Spotlight's shows! This theatre really helped me find my creative spark in performing! I wouldn't be who I am today without Spotlight! All the performances are fantastic and I highly recommend taking your little ones to one of their camps, they will have the time of their lives!
